At Integrative Health Massage Therapy the atmosphere is relaxing and safe.  These policies reflect a desire to maintain this environment.  They are set in place to protect everyone; therapist and clients.  If you have any questions about the policies, please feel free to contact me.

Each massage session will last one clinical hour unless specified.  Upon scheduling your massage you will be emailed a brief health history form.  Please fill this form out and bring it with you to your appointment.  At your first appointment we will go over any health concerns listed on the form before starting the session.  All parts of the body not being worked on will be draped during the massage session.  Therapeutic massage is non-sexual in nature.

Sickness

  It is against the policy of Integrative Health Massage Therapy to massage individuals with a fever or vomitting.  It is also advisable to avoid being massaged during the onset of a cold or flu.  If you become ill on the day of your scheduled massage, please call to reschedule as early as possible.

Lateness

  If you know you are going to be late, please call.  Your massage will not be extended additional time past the time scheduled to account for your lateness.  This is to be fair to the other clients scheduled that day as well as the therapist.

Cancellation

   It is the policy of Integrative Health Massage Therapy to call to confirm your appointment the day before you are scheduled to receive your massage.  If you need to reschedule or cancel your massage, please do so at this time.  If you cancel anytime after this 24 hour notice you will be expected to pay the full amount for your missed appointment. 

Terminating a Session

  Intergrative Health Massage Therapy does not tolerate any inappropriate behavior or touching.  If this occurs you will be given a warning.  If the behavior continues after the warning your session will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.  In such a case you will be expected to pay the full amount and you will be given a notice to document your termination.
